I saw this quote the other day and it reminded me to never loose that sense of wonder that we all have as children.
"Mediocre people have an answer for everything and are astonished at nothing." - Eugene Delacroix
At some point, and it is different for everyone, we are prone to lose the awe inspiring wonder that makes the hair stand up on the back of our necks and cause us to do a double take just to make sure that what we are seeing is for real.
I love when I don't have an answer for the question "why" or "how." It reminds me of my place in the grand scheme of things. There are times when the finite mind we have can not comprehend the greatness of what we are seeing or experiencing and to try and explain it with words only ruins the moment and cheapens the memory. Some times silence is the greatest honor that we can pay.
